All 4 of the internal club competitions reached their climax on this mostly sunny Saturday afternoon with Silke winning the BA Hull Handicap Challenge Cup 7 – 1 against Bob and Christine won the BA Hull Challenge Handicap Plate 7 – 1 against David. The Exton Family Level Play Trophy was won by Peter winning 7 – 4 against Gordon and Christine winning the Exton Family Level Play Plate 7 – 5 against Doreen. Well done to all those competing today and congratulations to the winners. We would also like to thank all those coming along to support and joining in with the celebrations afterwards. An extra big thank you goes out to Jaqui for her support during the home league games for the three Moreton teams.

League Division Win for Moreton A

Fantastic news this week as Moreton Team A won the division title for the South West Federation High Handicap League North, putting them through to the overall High Handicap League semi finals. Winning 5 out of 5 matches they now have a chance at making it to the Final being held on 24th September.

Funday

Tai Chi at Moreton Croquet Club

Saturdays at 11.30 am David will be running Tai Chi sessions for all. Cost is £5 per session payable on the day and everyone is welcome to join us. The sessions will be run at the croquet lawns located behind the bowls just off of Redesdale Place. Click here for map.
