Introductory Courses

Coaching Day Practice

We hold coaching courses free to members every year and all members are welcome to join in these sessions. The aim is to learn basic techniques and skills needed to enjoy the game at all levels including at a competitive level.

Our initial focus is on getting the basic skills needed for golf croquet. After six lessons you will have received a good introduction to both golf croquet and association croquet.

Children & Young People

National Schools Competitors

We are a family friendly club, and like to encourage children to play from nine years of age. Children need to be accompanied by an adult or responsible person . Our Child Safeguarding Policy can be found under Club Policies linked below.

Please speak to our Club Captain if you are interested in junior coaching.

We will be arranging “Experience Croquet” sessions for schools and youth groups during 2025. Croquet is a popular sport at many British universities, with the Croquet Association arranging the UK Student Championship each year. The World Croquet Federation organises the Under 21 Golf Croquet World Championship.
